Karndean International are a flooring supplier offering specialist flooring solutions worldwide. The client has specified that the stand should be a double deck solution in order to create an “upstairs downstairs” feel of a typical home. The ground floor of the stand will be used to engage potential clients to Karndean’s core business which is the house building sector. Therefore an area to store and demonstrate their wide range of product is a key requirement and needs to be clearly visible to passes by. Clients with more specific requirements will need to be taken to a private meeting area. It has been suggested that the double deck may serve this purpose. In addition, Karndean are keen to utilise the imagery that appears in their brochures to large walls for graphic display are needed to compliment the overall feel. Rationale The demonstration desk has been placed on the corner of the stand that will receive most of the traffic. There are sixteen openings on each side allowing up to thirty-two samples to be stored on the stand at any one time. A large thermoformed work surface allows for Karndeans Sales Team to place samples on the desk so that they can discuss them with clients. The stand has been constructed to the full 5 metres available and includes high level branding with two supporting extrusion pillars that will carry additional graphic communication. As per the requirements of the brief a double deck has been included and will serve as a private meeting area.
