Exhibitions are a breeding ground for espionage! An environment where the competition is around every corner, where people talk freely and where you can pick up literature that you can’t otherwise get.
You need to be on your toes and your exhibition stand staff need to be aware of the competition. If you’re observant and good listeners, you’ll find your competitors easily give themselves away – they know far more than the average exhibition visitor or they’ll ask very probing and precise questions. Make sure your exhibition stand staff do more questioning than talking so that they lessen the chances of divulging valuable information.
