Nimlok manufactured exhibition stand wins award at NEC for Saffron Villas

Still in its infancy, 'A Place In The Sun' exhibition held at the NEC at the end of September was a huge success for both Saffron Villas and Nimlok. A Place In The Sun, now in it's second year, is the world's largest overseas property and lifestyle exhibition. The exhibition attracted over 300 exhibitors each offering information and advice on buying properties abroad. Top TV presenter Amanda Lamb made guest appearances revealing top tips for house hunting abroad.

Saffron Villas specialise in properties in Morocco. A family run company with expertise who offer genuine, impartial advice and in depth knowledge of the Moroccan property market. Although based in Newbury, Berkshire, they also have an office based in Morocco and Spain. Saffron Villas offer a complete service for purchasing a property abroad including solicitors, mortgages and detailed tours of the island.

Saffron Villas chose the top custom modular exhibition stand company, Nimlok, to create an exhibition solution to allow them to exhibit at the 'A Place In The Sun' Trade show. Saffron Villas already had an exhibition stand but came to Nimlok with an exhibition design brief to change their existing exhibition stand to make it visually softer and more attractive and eye catching.

Saffron Villas had some ideas on what they required from their redesigned exhibition stand and requested some adjustment to the stand seating areas, and more incorporation of fabric graphics and voiles. Saffron Villas wanted to create a tent effect roof to the exhibition stand to give the impression of being outdoors.

Saffron Villas stand request posed quite a challenge for one of our most senior exhibition stand designers, James Wellstead. Having listened to Saffron Villas design requests, James immediately got to work in designing and visualising the revamped exhibition stand. Using Nimlok's vast and adaptable product range and the wealth of knowledge from our project management team we were able to offer and deliver a stunning exhibition stand that Saffron Villas were proud of and one the show organisers' were very taken with!

Trade show organisers, The Brooklands Group, had a number of categories for their exhibitors to enter into. Saffron Villas, beat a number of other exhibitors and won the 'Best exhibition stand award' for their 45m2 exhibition stand which fell into the 'Best stand from 20-50m2 award'.
