Nimlok and Glassex a winning combination!

Now in its 27th year, Glassex 07 is the largest and only dedicated event for glass and glazing industries in the UK, the event takes place at the NEC, Birmingham in early March and from the pre-show exhibition mailer it looks to be the biggest and best yet!

Leading manufacturers from the glass and glazing industries will be exhibiting from top names like High security lock company, Mul-T-Lock (UK) Ltd, Yale - who claim to provide the world’s favourite locks and Pilkington, manufacturers of the world famous, energy efficient, Pilkington K glass.

It will also provide the opportunity for glass and glazing distributors, like Mila and Window Ware, to meet suppliers and customers in a friendly environment, on their exhibition stand.

The primary focus this year at Glassex will be Energy Efficiency, the seminar programme is dedicating a whole day to focus on this topic alone. There will be an Energy Efficiency zone at the exhibition sponsored by Edgetech which will highlight businesses, products and services that are leading the way in contributing to energy savings and environmental protection.

Climate change is already having an impact on the society in which we live - on the economy as well as on the environment - and this will increase. Understanding the parameters of and reasoning behind policy and regulation is crucial for organisations who want to remain competitive. Nimlok Ltd are in the process of implementing an environmental management system that will meet the ISO 14001 legislation.
