The $158 million project will see the venue double in size to become the Middle East’s largest purpose built exhibition centre covering 55,000 square meters of inter-connected exhibition floor space.
Phase 1 of the project for the exhibition centre project opened in February 2007 and has already been host to 10 major international exhibitions with visitors of over 250,000 from more than 100 countries.
Well established shows such as IDEX & ADIPEC have been to the centre along with many new events because they now have a platform to grow.
Nimlok exhibition stand and display solutions provider supplied VT Shipbuilding with a 36 square meter exhibition stand for the IDEX show at the centre. Incorporating sales, rental and services elements into the exhibition stand design, a unique custom modular exhibition stand was displayed at this ever expanding show.
Nimlok looks forward to servicing other clients on an international level and making use of these great new facilities in Abu Dhabi.
