Nimlok host charity shoot to raise money for the British Heart Foundation

Staff and clients joined together at the Royal Berkshire Shooting Ground to enjoy a corporate day out clay pigeon shooting in aid of Nimlok’s chosen charity for 2007, The British Heart Foundation.

After a successful day last year, Nimlok decided to host another shooting event inviting various clients to join them and take part. The ground had a stunning display of Nimlok outdoor products that could be seen from all angles of the shoot making it a personalised occasion.

Over 15 clients attended the day and despite the majority of the UK being flooded, the weather was fine for most of the day. For every clay that was hit, one pound went towards the charity. In total, over the course of the day, over 920 clays were hit; this total was then rounded up to 1000 by Tim Perutz, Managing Director from Nimlok Ltd. A grand total of £1,000 was raised at the event and presented to the British Heart Foundation Charity.

Diane Moffitt from Allied Bakeries attended the event and commented: “I just wanted to email to say a huge thank you for a fantastic day yesterday. I can't tell you how much fun I had, and I am so glad I got to experience something I've wanted to do for a long time.

Nimlok are proud to be able to host such an event and raise money for their chosen charity at the same time. Further charity events are scheduled for the rest of the year.
