Exhibition stand company learn more about lean practices

Local exhibition and display stand solutions company, Nimlok, have set aside valuable time to learn more about lean practices. Nimlok are a manufacturer and supplier of exhibition stand solutions worldwide so the need to brush up on such important practices is vital.

Over 30 staff from Nimlok in Wellingborough have recently taken part in a Lean Manufacturing Implementation programme delivered by Don Calvert from the Rolls Royce Centre of Vocational Excellence (COVE).

The programme, consisting of four individual workshops, contributes towards increasing productivity of manufacturing companies in the East Midlands region by raising awareness of lean practices and introducing lean principles to employees.

Diane Walton, HR Manager of Nimlok commented “we involved people throughout all levels of the business in the workshops and are delighted with the results achieved. More programmes are planned for Nimlok staff later on this year continuing into 2008, this will help to ensure that Nimlok staff continues to have the best knowledge in all avenues of supply and manufacture.
