Exhibition Stand solutions provider is first to obtain ISO14001

Nimlok are the UK’s leading exhibition and event display solutions providers and they have now taken the lead in becoming the industry’s first, to be officially accredited with the internationally recognised ISO14001 environmental standard. Working closely with BSI over the past year, Nimlok have been concentrating on obtaining the ISO14001 environmental management system.

Operations Manager, Keith Richardson added; “For 37 years we have been committed to caring for the environment by using 80% recyclable material for manufacturing our products”. Nimlok endeavour to ensure maximum recyclability of unwanted display products by offering to dispose of any exhibition display equipment no longer wanted by clients, as part of the original purchase contract.

Testament to the reusability of Nimlok display products is the very large quantity of Nimlok equipment still in daily use after 20 or 30 years.

Caring for the environment is something Nimlok have always participated in; Keith commented; “when we were developing our site many years ago, we couldn’t build on the corner of our land due to discovering a colony of newts and so left the gardens as they were so they were not disturbed - forever caring for the environment!”

Upon receiving the ISO14001 standard, Managing Director Tim Perutz added “We are extremely proud of this huge achievement and I am grateful to all of my colleagues for their efforts made in reaching this internationally accepted environmental standard”.
