Industry leader Nimlok looks to the future of exhibition stand design and event solutions with the appointment of Lee Hackett as Head of Research and Development.

Research and Development is a critical aspect in exhibition stand design.

Nimlok's continued success in providing exhibition stand design and display solutions worldwide revolves around fast changing product lines. 90% of the products we have in our range today were not here five years ago! Research and development is vital to keep ahead of product innovation, bearing in mind we only have seven seconds to catch the eye of a potential trade show customer, we really need to be thinking outside of the box and our exhibition stand design needs to stand out from the rest.

Appointment of Exhibition Stand Design R&D Manager

Lee Hackett has taken up this design challenge and is based at the Nimlok UK head office in Wellingborough. Lee is highly experienced in his field and has had production and technical management roles at multi-national companies such as Mul-T-Lock and Snap-On Tools. For the past 5 years Lee has been Production Manager at Ultima Displays Limited, part of the Nimlok Exhibitions Group. During this time he was accountable for developing their production and logistics facilities together with sourcing and purchasing machinery and equipment. Custom product development and stand design were key responsibilities in Lee's role and he will use this design experience to further enhance the R&D facility within Nimlok. Within the past year Lee has gone onto further broaden his skills in the exhibition Industry, taking on a sales role within Ultima to gain an insight from the customer's perspective in the specification and design of exhibition stands.

With his combined talent in the exhibition industry Lee will be a major contribution to Nimlok's exhibition stand design and continued success in this industry.
