Design Challenge

HJ Weir are a provider of sheet and towel folding machines to the hotel and leisure industry. They are market leaders, who offer quality, excellent service and support, and good value for money. The brief was to design a stand that had the ‘Wow’ factor but, that allowed enough room for product demonstrations. They wanted to avoid a cluttered, crowded feel while maintaining areas for meetings, hospitality, storage and a kitchen. The stand was to be installed in Germany.

Design Solution

The large arch and signage draws visitors onto the stand and through to the centre of the stand. Off to the right is the bar area which gives clients a place to rest and view the product demonstrations. The separate meeting areas with fabric dividers are perfect for client discussions. The fabric divides compliment the fabric drops used in the product display area. Finally, the surrounding gantry embraces the machinery while providing graphic opportunities through the towers and a vehicle for product lighting.
