Nimlok helps marketers cast the net wide at Marketing Week Live

Global exhibition solution provider Nimlok is inviting marketers to ‘head to its plaice’ at Marketing Week Live to show how creative stand design and cutting edge digital content can make for a winning exhibiting formula resulting in deeper visitor engagement.

Nimlok is practising what it preaches at the show with a highly creative ‘fishing’ themed stand and digital fishing game (stand B130) to demonstrate to would-be exhibitors how combining engaging data capture techniques increases lead generation and can deliver a healthy return on investment.

Samantha Thomsett, Nimlok’s marketing manager, said: “The fish theme is quite unusual and I think visitors will be curious, especially when they see our fabulous 3D design and on-stand gamification. Fishing should resonate well with marketers who are always fishing for new prospects and casting their net far and wide in the hope of landing the big fish!”

Research conducted by Nimlok at last year’s show illustrated that exhibitors had a greater appetite for sweets and other giveaways than embracing digital engagement and technological innovation. In 2012 almost 50 per cent of those surveyed offered giveaways versus only 10 per cent who used integrated social media. Samantha adds, ‘It’ll be interesting to see from the show whether some of those statistics have shifted considerably within 12 months. Whilst everyone likes giveaways, we want to show that using compelling on-stand content and gamification can add enormous value for marketers. The up-front cost of events can be high so we have to prove that, when done well, exhibitions are a very powerful way of securing face-to-face brand engagement, lead generation and deliver better cost per lead than many other marketing mediums.”
