Project - Action Stations

Aircraft Carrier Alliance (ACA) is a group of companies that are responsible for delivering two new aircraft carriers to the Royal Navy in 2014. ACA took advantage of the exhibition space at Portsmouth Naval Dock Yards by creating a permanent exhibit ‘Carrier Strike’ to highlight the ongoing programme of development of these aircraft carriers.

Nimlok assisted with the graphic design and installation of permanent display systems that were used within the exhibit space, including a floor graphic which simulates the landing deck of the aircraft carrier, including runway lighting effects. This is a permanent installation that will be upgraded as the project develops.
