Caparol is recognised as a worldwide leader in the manufacture of DIY and building paints, specialist structural coatings and external wall insulation systems. With over 4000 employees and a turnover in excess of €1 billion, Caparol are the 3rd largest producer of such materials in Europe.

After successfully installing an exhibition stand on numerous occasions for Caparol and fully understanding the vision of the company, Ben Parry - Operations manager briefed us on an unusual custom project. They had just installed a purpose built design centre where architects and specifiers could visit to discuss projects in a “hands on” environment. The brief to Nimlok was to install a bespoke two sided wall unit within the centre that would house the product samples and deliver an incredibly high spec. in line with the rest of the project.

The A4 samples are housed in white laminate sliding drawer sections that pull forward to allow easy viewing of the architectural substrates. More heavy duty drawers make up the bottom section with the smaller coaster size samples stored in foam inserts. The overall installation was finished with striking graphic content to add to the visual impact.
