Working with us is about building relationships and achieving results as a partnership, not as individuals. We work hand in hand with you to ensure your exhibition stand is delivered on time, on budget and on brief. Being under one roof helps us keep in control of your exhibition stand at all times so your journey with us is organised and stress free.
Exhibition deadlines cannot be changed, so we have a defined procedure that helps us ensure your stand design and build stays on track. Every project we design, build and install goes through the same process and transitions across our departments, who all play their own vital role in ensuring a great result every time. We design your stand, build it, ship it, install it, dismantle it and store it, all at Nimlok, making the whole process seamless and simple.
Here are 9 steps we take to create your exhibition stand:
1. Consultation and brief
This is your chance to tell us exactly what you want to achieve at your exhibition. It’s important to tell us as much information as possible, focusing especially on your budget, timescale and graphic objectives. Find out more about our consultation process.
If you’re stuck writing your brief, why not check out our free download on how to create a great exhibition brief to help make this process even easier.
2. Preliminary design
Our first proposal and estimate is based on your brief. This is a good time to review your budget and the structure of the exhibition stand to make sure it’s still what you want it to be. We also offer you the opportunity to give feedback on any further amendments needed and to review the critical requirements before the final design. Find out more about our design process.
3. Final design
Here we present the final design and estimate for your approval. We also stress the importance of following the proposed timeline to make sure your requirements are met throughout the various stages of the project.
4. Design sign-off
At this stage we need all the necessary details to guarantee on-time delivery of your exhibition stand. This should include a written order with colour confirmations and surface finishes, all graphic files and information on services. All these details will help ensure a smooth order process for your project.
5. Internal order detailing
We prepare your order internally, book a preview of your stand and release your order for manufacture. Find out more about our project management process.
6. Exhibition stand production
Your order is scheduled into each department within Nimlok, special materials are ordered, rental items reserved and service elements purchased. A proforma invoice is sent to you at this stage so payment can be made prior to shipping of your stand.
7. Previewing your exhibition stand
Your exhibition stand is built by our team of exhibition stand builders. This is your opportunity to visit Nimlok’s head office and view your stand. Here you’ll be able to make any minor tweaks or adjustments you need to before your stand is delivered to the show.
8. Packing and shipping
We require at least half a day to pack your stand ready for shipping. The shipping company will need to be booked at this stage too. It could be the Nimlok services team or another company of your choice.
9. Installation and sign off
Our exhibition stand builders will oversee this for you and you only need to be there at the end to sign off. We take away the stress so you can focus on your exhibiting objectives and enjoy a successful show. Find out more about our installation, dismantle and storage process
