We are a growing and complex business encompassing many skills and disciplines including design, digital engagement, AV, logistics, printing, warehousing, installation and more, creating a varied and interesting role for an ambitious IT professional.

Key responsibilities:

The role of IT Technician is to provide day to day practical and technical support to IT users, and have responsibility for the maintenance and administration of the IT infrastructure and services throughout the business.  The position will also support the Director of IT in identifying ways of the continuous development of the IT systems.

 

The ideal IT Technician:

The successful applicant will have a proven track record in an IT support role and will have an in depth working knowledge of systems including Microsoft Windows / Office 365, Microsoft Server, VMWare or similar virtualised server environments, and Apple Mac based systems. A working knowledge of firewall and network switch is also essential, as is experience of IP telephony, ERP and CRM systems, and Veritas or similar backup solutions.

A relevant Microsoft certification in server and desktops is desirable, as is experience in Microsoft Dynamics NAV and / or SugarCRM, and Linux.

You will need to have keen eye for detail, excellent time management and communications skills, with the ability to effectively discuss IT solutions with people of varying knowledge and experience.
