Nimlok UK is pleased to announce that it has successfully achieved the ESSA Health & Safety Accreditation, demonstrating its ongoing commitment to maintaining high standards of health, safety and professionalism across its operations.
As a long-standing specialist in exhibition stands, audience engagement and brand activations, health and safety is fundamental to how Nimlok operates. From its Northamptonshire headquarters to exhibition halls across the UK and internationally, ensuring projects are delivered safely and professionally remains a top priority for the entire team.
About the ESSA Health & Safety Accreditation
Awarded by the Event Supplier and Services Association (ESSA), the ESSA Health & Safety Accreditation is an independently audited, annual qualification for suppliers and contractors working within the events industry.
The accreditation aligns with SSIP-approved schemes such as CHAS and SafeContractor, while incorporating sustainability modules and a more in-depth assessment of key health and safety management areas.
As this is independently audited it provides demonstrable evidence that a company’s health and safety management systems meet UK legislative requirements and recognised industry standards. For companies undertaking construction activities, the assessment also incorporates the Stage 1 competency requirements of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM 2015).
James Rook, Managing Director at Nimlok UK, said:
“Health and safety is integral to everything we do at Nimlok, and achieving this accreditation is an important recognition of the standards our team works hard to maintain.
From our production facility to the exhibition floor, we have a responsibility to protect our people, our clients and everyone involved in delivering our projects. This accreditation reinforces our commitment to doing things properly and gives our clients and partners further confidence in the professionalism and care behind every project we deliver.”
Sally Miller, HSQE Manager at Nimlok UK, also commented:
“Achieving the ESSA Health & Safety Accreditation is a fantastic achievement for the team and reflects the incredible work that goes into maintaining our health and safety standards.
Effective health and safety management requires a proactive approach, from identifying and managing risks to ensuring our people have the right training, procedures and support in place. This accreditation provides valuable independent recognition of those efforts and reinforces our focus on continually reviewing and improving how we work.”
In an industry where complex projects, tight installation schedules and multiple contractors frequently operate within shared environments, robust health and safety management is essential.
Achieving the ESSA Health & Safety Accreditation, which is a vital benchmark for the events industry, reinforces Nimlok’s commitment to protecting its people, maintaining high professional standards and giving clients, event organisers, partners and venues confidence that their projects are delivered safely and responsibly.
